Using Remote Sensing to Map Vegetation Density on a Reclaimed Surface Mine a simple NDVI-based technique is presented that estimated fractional vegetation cover on part of a reclaimed surface mine, producing less than 10 percent RMSE error when compared against 34 sample sites.
